From learning software development in 2024 to an independent music focus in 2026, and a return to building through Furina Shell KDE.

Biography

Kazhime Kagemori is an independent musician and creator whose path began with programming in 2024 — exploring Linux customization, desktop interfaces, and software design through personal experiments and learning.

After stepping back from active development to focus on music and artistic expression, the journey led to an official music debut in May 2026. Today, creative work spans independent releases and the early-stage Furina Shell KDE project — a return to development rooted in interface design and desktop craft.

Timeline

  1. Programming Journey Begins

    Started learning software development and experimenting with personal programming projects. This period marks the beginning of my interest in Linux customization, desktop interfaces, and software design.

  2. Learning & Exploration

    Focused on learning development concepts, exploring Linux desktop customization, and experimenting with various technical ideas and personal projects.

  3. Creative Transition

    Gradually stepped away from active software development and shifted focus toward music and artistic expression.

  4. Official Music Debut

    Released my first official music release that remains publicly available today. Earlier experimental releases existed but were removed and should not be considered part of the official discography.

  5. Independent Music Project

    Actively creating and releasing music under the name Kazhime Kagemori while continuing to develop my artistic identity and sound.

  6. Return to Development

    Returned to software development through the Furina Shell KDE project, combining interests in Linux customization, interface design, and desktop experience development.

  7. Furina Shell KDE

    Building a custom desktop experience inspired by modern interface design principles, with long-term plans for deeper desktop environment customization and community-driven development.
